Loans for Construction Industry

An existing Namibia loan company with all required licensing provides advancing funds for employees between paychecks, similar to a payday loan. The investment funds will allow the company to expand into providing lending services to advance funds to small to medium-sized construction companies with secured contracts that need upfront funding to proceed with the project before receiving payment from the customer. The construction projects are both government and private contracts.

The standard interest rate is 20% for these kinds of funds.

Minimum Investment Goal: $11,000 USD

Toilet Paper Distribution

An existing Namibian business acquires toilet paper materials from South Africa and utilizes factory space to measure, cut, and package the toilet paper. The company has current contracts but is seeking a partner to invest in half the raw toilet paper and support management (in-person) to lead production. This will allow them to grow and expand with additional contracts.

The profit is 12% per package of toilet paper.

Minimum Investment goal: $6,000 USD

The ideal investor has manufacturing management experience and an understanding of increasing profitability and running a lean operation. This project requires an employment visa and a move to Namibia. Additional investment may be required to continue the growth depending on mutual plans with the other partner.

Organic, Non-GMO Dried Fruit and Vegetables Production

A Namibian startup company is seeking investment to assist in the production of dried fruits and vegetables for local and international distribution. The company currently has the machinery to produce dried food. It needs additional capital to facilitate purchasing bulk fruits and vegetables on a contract basis from local and international organic farms. The capital will also be used to fund labor and travel to some of the global suppliers to check the growing conditions of the produce and to facilitate relationships. Funding will also be used to secure a lease agreement for farmland to begin growing food locally in Namibia. The founder is a former banker with extensive global business relationships. This is a low-competition business with a high need in this market.
